This event will be held in Guimarães, Portugal, from 1st - 4th June 2022, in parallel with the "European RoboCupJunior 2022".
The European RoboCupJunior 2022, was about junior leagues only, but we decided to organize other major leagues, namely @Home Education and MSL.
Guimarães is a small city (170,000 people) and its historic center is a world heritage.
As a small city, the local public is very enthusiastic about robotics (we were the first Portuguese Team on MSL, in 1998).
The venue is very large, and the event will be great (Multiusos de Guimarães - GPS: 41.43547511153526, -8.3062854116528).
The nearest airport is in Porto (OPO), from where the access is very easy (only 30 minutes motorway from OPORTO airport).
The hotel costs are relatively low compared to central Europe.
The city of Guimarães is getting ready for this RoboCup European MSL championship.
The local football team (Vitória Sport Clube) is involved. Considering that this city is crazy about football and that the local team commemorates 100 years (born in 1922), we will have LOTS of vibrant public to watch the MSL games. The trophy (which will be awarded by Vitória's president) is ready and waiting for you.
