Small Size League: Call for Participation | RoboCup 2026

The RoboCup Small Size League Committee is pleased to invite teams from around the world to participate in the RoboCup 2026, which will take place in Incheon, South Korea, from June 30 to July 6, 2026.

About the Small Size League
The RoboCup Small Size League is part of the RoboCup Research Federation and focuses on advancing research in multi-agent coordination and control.

Teams compete in 11 vs. 11 soccer matches (with 6 vs. 6 matches in Division B). Each robot must fit within an 18 cm diameter circle and must not exceed 15 cm in height. Matches are played using an orange golf ball on a green carpeted field measuring 12 meters by 9 meters for the main division and 9 meters by 6 meters for Division B.

Qualification and Application
Teams seeking to qualify for the Small Size League competition must submit the following materials:
  • Team Qualification Material Submission Deadline: January 27, 2026
  • TDP Peer Review Deadline: February 17, 2026
  • Preliminary Team Qualification Results Announcement: March 10, 2026
  • Final TDP Submission Deadline: March 24, 2026
  • Final Team Qualification Results Announcement: April 7, 2026

All official communication regarding qualification will be conducted via e-mail through the RoboCup Small Size League mailing list. Teams must closely monitor these messages and respond promptly to any requests from the Organizing Committee.
Failure to reply may result in the loss of the team’s qualified position.
