The 11th edition of RoboParty'2017 held last 2-4 March at University of Minho in Guimarães, Portugal, was once again very successful. Organized by University of Minho and botnroll.com, it hosted about 500 youngsters in 120 registered teams. Each team built his own robot from scratch, guided by professional, soldered the electronic components on the PCB, programmed it, and participated on three different challenges.
All of this was carried out within a relaxed environment, full of fair-play, knowledge exchange between the mixed teams, etc. After RoboParty, participants own the robot and carried home/school their robots in order to continue their learning process. The robot built is Arduino Based, botnroll ONE A, which is compatibile with all RoboCup leagues. There was also time for some sports activity (tenis table, jump, chess, gimnastics) and ludic activities (DJ, tunas playing, robotic demonstrations, etc.).
