The world leading fashion brand, Louis Vuitton has been providing the “Louis Vuitton Humanoid Cup” to the winner of the humanoid league as “Best Humanoid award” identifying the RoboCup's philosophy with their brand concept, technology & innovation.

The first "Louis Vuitton Humanoid Cup", was presented in Fukuoka, Japan in 2002. The Cup was then handed over to Padova, Italy; Lisbon, Portugal; Osaka, Japan and Bremen, Germany. It will now be taken to the next host city, Atlanta, USA, for the 2007 Championships. Each year until 2050, the Louis Vuitton Humanoid Cup will travel around the world to the cities hosting the RoboCup event.
